What is Jasmine green tea?
In Song Dynasty, China rose a hot trend of putting fragrance into tea, because, in ancient times, the fragrance was a health care product, a drug guide, tea was medicine, which could detoxify hundreds of poisons. In Fuzhou local dialect, tea and medicine are called "Dao", leading to the combination of fragrance and tea. In Song Dynasty, there were dozens of fragrant tea, which were eliminated after the change of the times. Only 56 kinds of jasmine were left, accounting for 96% of them. Jasmine tea flourished.
The jasmine and tea are stacked together and mixed to make the tea absorb the fragrance of flowers. During this period, tea makers have to constantly turn the tea and jasmine until the jasmine completely loses its fragrance. After the tea completely absorbed the aroma of jasmine, the tea and jasmine were separated and dried by the machine. This kind of tea full of jasmine fragrance is jasmine tea. So there's no Jasmine in jasmine green tea.
